A Plea for Documentation
I made this miniature wallhanging that is hand appliquéd and hand echo quilted a long time ago for my mother. I remember the patterns both in the center and around the edge had something to do with where my mom grew up - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. But now that I am trying to figure out the names of the patterns I am drawing a blank. So here is an example of why it is important to label your quilts when you make them. Also, the quilt has been hanging on point which has warped it a bit.
When you create a label to go on the back of your quilt considering including the following information:
The name of the quilt
Who you made it for
Your name
Where you live
The date of completion
How it is put together and quilted
Information about the pattern
