Elaine's Garden
Diligently working without the group.
There are two Elaine's in our group. This is Elaine Houston who was driving two hours from Batesville to be with us at our monthly meeting. Although she wasn't always able to be with us, she worked steadily to get her flowers made and her quilt top put together. Like Lorraine, she made her flowers on black fabric. However she has used prints to make the nine patches to go with her 3" blocks. We voted and said the top looked complete without the broderie perse border. Sadly, she moved to Illinois but has promised us a picture when she finishes quilting her Calico Garden.
