The Mini's Quilt
Once a year in Arkansas guilds from around the state meet at Quilt Congress. It is sponsored by a different group each year. In 2007 QUEST and Conway Quilters sponsored the gathering in Little Rock. There was a large quilt that the QUEST members made for a raffle. The Mini-Makers made a small version of the quilt for a silent auction.
Members of the group used their 30's reproduction fabrics to make the paper pieced blocks. Donna McConnell used her "Donnappliqué" method to add the cute flower and vine border. Finally, Jaynette Huff machine quilted this piece. Irma Gail Hatcher is now the proud owner of this quilt.
