How to Invisible Machine Appliqué Like Lorraine Hofmann
My friend Lorraine Hofmann has very nice method of doing machine appliqué using invisible thread and the vari-overlock stitch on her sewing machine. She adapted her technique from Quiltmaker's Guide to Fine Machine Appliqué by Cherie Ralston and Karla Menaugh. The pattern she uses for her demonstration is from Birds of a Feather by the Blackbird Design pair Barb Adams and Alma Allen.
